Advertorial : Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion For Instant Cooling

Hello everyone~
Here I am with another review on Palmer's product!
You can read the previous review over here!

A brief introduction of the superfood aka shea butter, which is the main ingredient for Palmer's product.

Palmer's was founded in America more than 170 years ago in 1842 and has become one of the world’s leading names in skincare, a brand that women around the
world have grown up with.

Their unique heritage and commitment to quality has stood the test of time. Generations of families have loved the fantastic moisturizing qualities of Palmer’s skincare range, and millions of women around the world agree.

Most importantly, Palmer's is against animal testing and all of the products are cruelty free. Majority of Palmer’s products are free of parabens, phthalates and sulphates.

The new product that I am going to review today is another spray lotion, but this time it is for Instant cooling with Aloe!

Because I am currently working in an office environment, which means that I am in an air conditional room for almost 9 hours per days. Excluding sleeping time which I admit, I do on the air con as well. Therefore, I realised that my skins are getting dry not just on my heels and legs area but as well as my hands and arms.
Here an before photo that I took before spraying the lotion.

And an after photo which I took after rubbing in the product gently.
Do remember to spray the product 3 - 4 inches away from skin!
See how moist my skin look instantly?

I forget to mention in my previous post, but the bottle came with the lock function to prevent any accidental spray if I were to carry this to my office!

My overall verdict of this product : Although this is very moisturising to the skin as promised. However, I don't find the instant cooling sensation. Perhaps the bottle I got was defective? However, I do feel that this does not feel as "heavy" as the previous one which was the deep moisture. Another downside was, after spraying this product, I feel that my floor was really slippery which can be quite hard to clean off from the floor.

Nonetheless, I would definitely prefer this version because of the lightweight feel to it and also of the chocolate scent! I feel like I have just soak/bath myself with chocolate! Plus the packaging make it so much convenient for me to bring it to my office or out and about.

Last but not least, Sonia sui is the embossador for Palmer's product!

Do check out their product at Watsons, Guardian, Fairprice, BHG, Robinsons, John Little and leading cosmetic stores and its retail price S$17.90 only!

Till next time,

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture #51 Corail Urbain and #52 Rouge Rose

Hello everyone!

Once again, I bought my favourite YSL lipstick on my way to Bangkok a few weeks ago in DFS.
Even J also give up on me because he know that we have to check in early just for me to shop and look for my YSL items... #noshame!

Anyway, there is a valid reason why I gotten 2 lipsticks this time instead of 1 which was my usual. Because, I wanted the shade 52 badly!! Even since the Korean drama ; My love from another stars, this shade was sold out in Asia!!

It's the exact colour that Cheon Song Yi wore.. Although I managed to find the colour in Singapore airport BUT they only sell in a set which include lip stain and lip gloss. Which I know I would never use it. Therefore, I gotten shade 51 instead because I like the pinkish nude.

Then, on my way back from Bangkok airport. I managed to find shade #52!!! Just grab and go before  rushing to take my flight back to Singapore. Actually, I find that the luxury pricing in Bangkok is either the same or higher. So, no point buying in Bangkok actually. But either way, I'm happy to get the shade I wanted badly!!

Enough of the side story and back to the review.

 photo SAM_4338.jpg
Let's talk about #51 Corail Urbain. This is a orangish nude with white based. Although this shade is a white based colour, i'm surprise that it doesn't wash me out as much as I thought it will.
 photo SAM_4343.jpg photo SAM_4345.jpg
The colour is not as intense as #52, definitely an everyday colour that I can wear to work. Not too loud if your job required you to meet client. The lipstick is moisturising and forgiving for people with dry/wrinkle lip.
 photo SAM_4353.jpg
Next is the ever popular colour #52 Rouge Rose. This is lipstick definitely has a much intense colour payoff. If you are not comfortable in wearing red lip like me yet want an intense lip colour, definitely give this shade a try.
 photo SAM_4344.jpg photo SAM_4347.jpg
The lip swatch show how intense the lipstick payoff, but you can definitely blot and have the soft look as what cheon song yi wore most of the time. I find that this colour is more worth it because you can play with the intensity for different looks.

I find that this colour is more moisturising that the previous one. Not too sure is it because of the colour or what. But this doesn't even show any line that my lip has!
 photo SAM_4356.jpg
Comparison of both colour; Even though their colour code is just next to each other, their colour is completely different from each other.
 photo SAM_4349.jpg photo SAM_4368.jpg
In conclusion, I find that this lipstick in not as moisturising as Volupté Shine nor the smell. This smell like the lip stain which has the "plastic" scent rather than a fruity scent like Volupté Shine. Still, I think it's worth to have these in my collection. Mainly because of the packaging. Heehee

Guess it's time for me to switch to other cosmetic product when  I shop in duty free rather than lipstick. Haha, I have TOO MANY lipsticks right now..

That's all for this review!
Do you have any other YSL products to recommend?

xoxo

Advertorial : Palmer's Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion Deep Moisture

Recently, I was very lucky to be contacted to try out this new product from Palmer's. Some might know that I'm crazy over their lip balm which I can't seem to find it anymore :( I remember asking my friends to smell my lip balm because it just smell so AMAZING!!

Let's talk about the history of Palmer's. (I know some are lazy to read the whole thing, so just look at the bold part for key points!)

Founded in America more than 170 years ago in 1842, Palmer’s has become one of the world’s leading names in skincare, a brand that women around the world have grown up with. Their unique heritage and commitment to quality has stood the test of time. Generations of families have loved the fantastic moisturizing qualities of Palmer’s skincare range, and millions of women around the world agree – Palmer’s can be found in bathroom cabinets in the homes of families in more than 80 countries, making it one of the popular skincare brand.
Their #1 formula, Cocoa Butter Formula, is one of Palmer’s key offering in its wide range of skincare. Today, Palmer’s is still committed to creating affordable products that really do work, growing to provide a Palmer’s product for every skincare need : hand and body care, facial care, stretch mark care, hair care, body care and personal care
Using nature’s richest, most luxurious ingredients, Palmer’s key ingredients include Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Palmer’s has created a Palmer’s product for every skincare need. Palmer’s is against animal testing and all of the products are cruelty free. Majority of Palmer’s products are free of parabens, phthalates and sulphates.

So, what is this new product ?

It is a new range of spray lotion! There are so many products that come in spray can form because of the convenient that they brought to us. Example, I love using spray sunscreen because it's so easy and fast. Therefore, the new range of moisture spray from Palmer's provide the same convenient for moisturising our skin!

The main ingredient of palmer's is Cocoa butter , which is why their products have the strongest chocolate scent to it.. So what's is cocoa butter? It's the superfood for our skin!!

This Moisture Spray lotion contained 3 main ingredients which are really good and moisturising for the skin.

Cocoa Butter: a rich natural moisturizer that leaves skin soft and silky, tranforming even the roughest, driest areas into buttery soft skin.

Vitamin E: a powerful antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and imperfections on the skin, giving a more even and toned appearance.

Shea Butter: deeply moisturizes and nourishes to leave dry soft and radiant

So, let's began with my experience while using this spray moisturiser , the result is almost instantly every time I used.

Because my legs have the driest skin which is why I put this test to my beloved legs~
Not too sure if you are able to see the dryness on my legs but I usually have this issue as I sleep in an air condition room.

 photo SAM_4371.jpg
It's really easy to use, just 3 - 4 inches away from skin and start rubbing into skin for our skin to fully absorbed. Please don't just spray and let it set. It will take quite a while before the lotion set and I guess  most of the goodness will evaporate.

This is an after picture after rubbing in the moisturiser.

My legs feel so moist and no more dry flaking around them ! Plamer's also came up with different variants.

Palmer’s Rapid Moisture Spray Lotion (Aloe) – For instant cooling
Palmer’s Stretch Mark Spray Lotion – For reducing the appearance of stretch marks

Shokudo - Cineleisure

 photo 20150403_145538.jpg photo 20150403_145204.jpg photo 20150403_145433.jpg photo 20150403_145707.jpg

Shokudo at cineleisure is one of our favourite dating place to go!
The foods are really nice with huge portion size! But it seem like the restaurants are harder to find now...

For those who are not familiar with Shokudo, they sell mostly Japanese Cuisine dishes. Really yummy and not too oily. I love their burger the most because of the portion size and although it looks kinda oily but believe me, it's really not.

Their macha drinks/desserts are really yummy too. The drink that J order was Macha float, it will be better if the ice cream was macha flavour too! But I guess that might be a little too much of macha.. Haha.

Although there was a period of time I hate going there because J had been bringing me there every time we were in town..

Nonetheless if you want to have a decent meal with affordable price range at a restaurant in town, definitely go try Shokudo.
